WELCOME BACK
The weather's hot, but school is COOL! We are ready for lots of back to school fun. As we get to know each other, we'll spend some time getting to know ourselves a little better too. Our brains work hard to help us learn, and the more we know the more we grow!
Even though you want to spend all your time with your old friends, don't forget how nice it is to make some new friends too! Say "hi" to someone new, and try be helpful. You can never have too many friends!
There's one more thing to remember. Don't forget to keep your area tidy. If you want the Squeaky Clean Mouse to visit your table, you must keep it neat and clean!

NEWSFLASH!!!
Mrs.Tiffany Davies, a frequent substitute at Broadmor School, will be a welcome addition to Room 8 during our first quarter. Mrs. Davies did her undergraduate student teaching with Mrs.Hiser two years ago. She is now working on her master's degree at the University of Phoenix, and she will be working in our classroom this fall. We can look forward to new ideas, interesting activities, and exciting games. Mrs. Davies would like to introduce the students to DINOSAURS. Let the fun begin!

SCHOOL TOOLS FOR A SMART START
Are you wondering what you'll need to bring?
You will have a red folder, a journal, a small box of crayons, and pencils. You can share classroom scissors, glue, markers, pencil sharpeners, and art supplies. You may bring a small backpack, a school box, a large box of crayons, a gluestick, your own scissors, and extra pencils. We always need boxes of tissues during cold and flu season.
