My Watercolor Paintings
I love art, and I am especially fond of the Masters. I consider Picasso ahead of his time, and love the works of Van Gogh, Lautrec, and Degas. I have worked with all types of media, but now concentrate on creating watercolor paintings. My subject matter varies from landscapes, to sports figures, and once I begin a painting, I do not know what will appear on my paper until I start it. I also prepare a prepatory sketch for all of my paintings.

My Favorite Artists-Picasso, Degas, Lautrec
In my home, I have a large Picasso "Guernica" that I never tire of looking at. I have a beautiful statue rendition of Degas "Young Ballerina", that I consider to be one of the most perfect sculptures and impressive work ever created. There is also a Monet, and Van Gogh's, "Cafe at Night", and one Winslow Homer painting adorning my walls. I love surrounding myself with reminders of the Masters.

Art Tips-Accentuate the essential and leave the obvious vague!
I have no rules. I paint what I feel from within. I depend on my life memories to create my watercolors, and I hate copies. Originality is the key to a good creative painting.Check out some of my sports watercolors at www.championsofcourage.org.
