Notice: Pluto Demoted to 'Dwarf Planet' Designation.
The International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of its planetary status 8/24/2006. The decision came after years of public debate and over three quarters of a century after astronomers first identified the ninth planet. I will continue to show Pluto as the ninth"planet" here.

These next four pages are 3d simulations of views from the outer limits of the Solar System looking inward. All of the planets except Pluto orbit the Sun very close to the Ecliptic, the path Earth follows around the Sun.
