We asked SHAG these questions, and here's what he had to say:

QUESTION:        When did you first learn about the Rollovers? 
ANSWER:           WHEN RICH (MOSES) ASKED ME TO BE ON HIS PIT CREW 

QUESTION:        When did you do your first rollover & how did it feel? 
ANSWER:           At the state championships 2001/ I still haven't figured out how it feels (it happens so quickly)
                           but the adrenaline high is great for a while afterward.   
  
QUESTION:       WHY do you do this ~ what would possess you?! 
ANSWER:           I think everyone has a little CRAZY in them, wanting to get out, I just let my crazy have free
                           rein.   

QUESTION:       Does it scare you to do this? 
ANSWER:           Makes me a bit nervous just before the show. 

QUESTION:       How did you come up with your name for your nickname? 
ANSWER:           I used to have real long hair when I first met Rich 30 years ago and his father didn't like long
                           hair so he started calling me Shag (I think he was hoping I would be intimidated and not come
                           over) and called me Shag till the day he passed.   

QUESTION:       Where do you get your cars to from? 
ANSWER:          We don't care as long as there cheap.   

QUESTION:       Does it sound loud (scary) as your're rolling the car over?
ANSWER:           No its not that loud. Why is it loud on the out side?   
  
QUESTION:       I know you get one point for every side of your care that hits the ground ~ what is the highest
                           points ever earned?
ANSWER:          The highest in our group is eight points scored in 2001 and then
                          again in 2002 at Golden Spike Arena. As for me the max points in
                          one roll is six, but I will change that soon.  
 
QUESTION:      Who made up the name of the VIBRATE team & why? 
ANSWER:         Johnny, his son Ed, Rich, and Ron all Vine's made up the name from.
                         Vine
                         Boys
                         Rollover
                         Team
                         VBRT didn't sound right so they added a few vowels to spell  
                         VIBRATE.
