Humboldt Boaters Club
HUMBOLDT BOATERS CLUB
Description
Humboldt Boaters Club was formed in May 2002 to serve the Winnemucca/Battle Mountain/Lovelock, Nevada area. Its purpose is to gather together people with interests in boating of all types (power boats, rafting, canoes, etc.), share information, schedule events & trips, and eventually become boating friends!

Meetings
On the first Wednesday of each month, the Humboldt Boaters Club meets at Restaurante San Fermin in Winnemucca at 7pm (Winnemucca Blvd.) There we exchange ideas, information, schedule events, and meet potential new members. Always a good time!

Past Month Recap
The Rye Patch-Poker Brown Crossing trip was attended by 10 members. We had no boat, except for a raft, but we did rescue a broken down motorboat (twice) that drifted into our shore, by jumpstarting it and then helping them load it the second time. A game of Road Trip from Hell was played that night, won by Embryo Cooper.

The Willow Creek Reservoir trip was attended by 3 members. Unfortunately, despite Elko NDOW claiming twice that it was full this year, it turned out to only be about half full-  thus the boat couldn't be launched. This lake does have descent potential however, but it needs to be full!
