While waiting at the ferry landing for Joe to return from a business trip, I met a local man with a dachshund puppy. He let me hold the puppy...and was Joe startled when he saw it. His fear was that it was ours!
Wotan poses *inside* a luggage bag. This was when we were preparing him to be snuck into a bed and breakfast that didn't allow dogs (it worked BTW).
Bridget holds Wotan on San Juan island at American Camp National Monument. We moved to this island earlier this year.

Shakti loves to wade in shallow water whenever she comes across it. Here she is shown wading in a small lake at the Oregon Dunes.

After a full day of hiking and chasing rabbits, Wotan gets a well deserved rest.
The humans were watching a fabulous rainbow over the waters of the sound on Salt Spring island in Canada, but as you can see a soaking wet Wotan and Shakti were not happy hikers this day!

I'm finding that I've become overwhelmed by the amount of email I get from my dachshund web pages and am embarrassed at how long it takes me to reply as I rarely get on AOL to read email. So as of March 2003 I have removed my email link and instead have a guestbook link where you are welcome to come by and leave comments or questions or just read what other dachshund lovers have written.
