Key Largo Memories
For the past twelve years students from Mr. Gilbert's Marine Biology class have traveled to Marine Lab in Key Largo, Florida. For five days and four nights the students get a first hand field experience as they explore the mangroves, seagrass beds, and coral reefs with snorkels and fins. When we return to Nottingham from this intensive educational experience the students have a greater appreciation for the marine environment. Many great memories are forged while in Key Largo while a special bond is formed between those who participate. For many, Key Largo has become their fondest memory of their high school years.
