Our Faith and Life
The OCW confesses the Orthodox faith proclaimed by the Seven Ecumenical Councils. We believe that which Holy Orthodoxy believes, and reject that which Holy Orthodoxy rejects. The principal liturgy of the diocese is "The Divine Liturgy according to Saint Germanus of Paris" as restored early this century by The Orthodox Church of France. The bishop of the diocese may also authorize the use of a recension of the ancient Roman rite that was previously blessed for Orthodox Church in this country by both the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. The diocese is ruled by His Excellency Bishop GABRIEL.
