Trail Commission
The Ohio Civil War Trail Commission, or OCWTC, was founded in 1997 by Dr. Lorle Porter, of New Concord, Ohio, and by Tom Snyder, of Zanesville, Ohio to make a listing of all of Ohio's Civil War sites. Once this list was completed, the information would be organized into themed trails that would guide interested people around Ohio to the sites that they wished to see.
