Cruising the back roads of Ohio looking for the past, legends and spooks.
We find this interesting. Along with the ghost.
Coshocton County Cemetery
Horrible legend haunts this graveyard. Mary Stockums' second husband killed her retarded daughter. Apparently this was okay with her. They hang her husband and she vowed revenge.
One by One, her remaining nine kids started wasting away and dying off. After the fifth had died, the town fathers had the woman burned as a Witch. When her sixth died, they dug her up, cut off her head,buried it outside the cemetery. The kids stop dying off.
So we cruised to Coshocton County Cemetery July 14, 2001.
Today the graveyard is supposed to be haunted by Mary Stockum, whos searching for her head and kids. First of all, the roads are for trucks and 4x4s.
But we parked our car by some old oil tanks and walked down the road. On up the road to our right, we approached some more abandoned oil tanks and just up from that was the cemetery. But people have vandalized it.
Witch is sad.
We forgot our camera. Go frgure. So back to the car we go. Past the tanks up the road to the car. We get the camera and look around the car and take off back again. We took these pictures of the cemetery.

Heading back to car we stopped at the oil tanks and Rick climbs the tanks to look around and I snapped a picture.
I started to hear a hissing sound and we're a distant from our car.
I asked Rick if he hears it? "Yes"
We stood there and listened for a few. That's wierd.
The hissing is now fading, more as we walk. As we approuch the car, we notice the hissing has now STOP.
We look at each other like, Oh, Well. But then as we get to the car, our front tire was flat.
SPOOKY HUH?
