The propaganda from the U.S. has been growing at an increasing rate against Iran, with attempts to tie them to al-Zarqawi, Osama bin Laden, other terrorists that hide there and of course nuclear weapons.

"If the war in Iraq was built on lies (as I believe it was) and Bush were to be successfully impeached because of it, wouldn't that make the arrest of Saddam Hussein completely illegal as well? Would we have to let him go with an apology for the massive inconvenience?"

I believe that would be the best course of action. Get Bush and friends behind bars and then deal with Iraq in that way. Remove troops as fast as they can drive out, stage them for departure outside Iraq. Tell the world that we're sorry, we lost control of our government, but now the perps are in prison and we'll be investigating the mess over the next decade to get criminal charges against all who deserve them. Drop all sanctions against Iraq and release all the political prisoners, especially Saddam. He had that place under control before, there's no reason not to let him get it back under control now.

Saddam didn't of course, but that's whatBush said and a lot of people have been killed as a result. So now we have 250,000 gallons of VX stored in Indiana. Forget terrorism, 250,000 gallons is enough to kill the entire population of the US. and "Whoopsie" they keep dropping the stuff, too!
