"Speeders" are self-propelled vehicles that move the crew and supplies around the railroad -- some even carry freight, passengers and light equipment. Kits include our superbly detailed resin castings with illustrated parts listings, color reference photos and our "fabulously" detailed instructions, plus a variety of ideas for extra detailing!
Add operating interest to large layouts by running a speeder or rail truck along the line between freights ... or run them on a tiny micro-layout. The 371 Mudbug and Trailer will operate on 6" minimum radius. The 372 & 373 Tin Chicken rail trucks will operate on 7" minimum radius.

ATTENTION / MUDBUG SPEEDER: Sometime in 2006, Bachmann introduced a NEW version of their HO Brill trolley with a can motor. The new version will NOT fit in the 371 Mudbug kit. We plan to introduce another kit to fit the new chassis in 2007.

371 Mudbug requires the OLD (pre-2006) style mechanism shown at right.
Old version has a large "sandwiched" motor casing as seen here. New version has a can motor and will NOT fit into this kit.
