"Desperate Housewives" meets "Criminal Intent" in this classic tale of love, betrayal and revenge. An abused wife in a loveless marriage plots her escape under cover of night with her newfound lover. Before she leaves, she must perform Columbine to her husband's Pagliacco. Art imitates life as the troupe's comedy turns to tragedy and the utterance of opera's most famous line - La commedia e finita! seals the characters fate.
