Besides
our wonderful board members who decide our meetings, seminars, trips and
display techniques, we have a variety of chairpeople who maintain the rest
of our club, such as our Steering, Membership, Raffle, Club Greeters,
Refreshment, Librarian, Sunshine Club, Christmas Party and Picnic.
We have many committees that support and plan various activities
of our club, such as Open House Tours, Make & Take, Prizes, Social
Gatherings, Picnic, Christmas Party and Charities. We have an editor who
maintains and keeps our members informed with our bi-monthly newsletter.
Our newsletter "The Village Beacon"
is issued on the odd months of the year, thereby keeping
our members informed of the world of Department 56 all year round.
LIBRARY
BOOKS
We
have 12 books in our library from displays to value guides to "How to" books
such as Display Mania, Filling your Village, Collectors Value Guides and
even the original Department 56 Newsletters from 1988 to 1990 as well
as the Quarterly's from 1991 to 1997 and even a holiday magic
Christmas book.

Club
Meetings
We have meetings on
the second Wednesday on the even months of the year at The Manchester
Hall Lodge #12 on RT 117 in Coventry. These meetings start at 7:00
p.m.
Club
Items
Our club has
our own shirts with our club name and logo on them. The logo is similar to
the same style and lettering as our name tag pins. Our new shirts are
Pique Polo Knit designed by Outer Banks and are made of 100% combed cotton
pique. They come in two colors: Jade shirt with Butter Yellow Logo
embroider or Butter Yellow shirt with Jade Logo embroider. The cost
is $23
We have club name tags that are green with a white
lighthouse on it and our club name, members name and logo
engraved in white. These sell for $8.00.
We have 14 videos that are the best display videos in the
world of collecting. We have several from our dealers and from Department
56.
We
provide our members with our own classified ads for buying and selling their
villages in order to help them find that missing village house or to sell
some of their houses to make room for new ones
