This Halloween found Willow and I donning pirate attire and attatching swords to our belts. I took my inspiration from "the princess bride" and the image of The Dread Pirate Roberts. Willow was a princess captured by myself who came to enjoy the swashbuckling life better than that of the ever so mundane royal court.

we then proceeded to our friend brittany's house to help her finish off her fairy costume which featured wings made by willow and myself.

The evening began with the carving of pumpkins while WIllow did her hair. Sadly i didnt' get a pic of any of the finished jack-o-lanterns.

We then went to a wedding reception at the Radison. these two came in together with the lizard being on a leash that the other girl was holding. funny!

When rum at the cash bar is $5.75, the frugal pirate drinks DrPepper.

My Rapier served the practical purpose of swatting off horny admirers of Willows endowments. I offered new costume ideas for a couple of men, that of a Castrati (which , as you may know, is a male singer who has been castrated so as to be able to sing higher than otherwise possible.)

After leaving the wedding reception we went over to Sara's halloween party, to which i forgot to bring my camera, much to my chagrin.

We then returned home to find someone pissing in our front bushes. I, still fully clad as the Dread Pirate Roberts, unsheashed my sword in such a way as to produce that exquisite "schwiiiiiing" noise. i called out in my hillbilly voice, "you pissin' in my bushes boy!? don't make me cut off that dick. i'll do it too, i'm crazy like that." TO which he sheepisly replied, "i'd rather you not" as he zipped up his fly while walking away.

So, it was a very nice Halloween and marked the first Holiday that Willow and I have shared together, which is great since it's always been my favorite day of the year. I had to think about it a little.. christmas day and eve are also nice, but Halloween has always held a special enchantment for me, ever since i was a little bugger dressing up in Star Wars costumes every year. I used to prepare for Halloween months in advance and would decorate my bedroom with haunted house trappings all summer long. Plus you have the added attraction of beautiful fall weather and vibrant autumn leaves. So i have to say that Halloween is definately a favorite.
