* The 2008 stud fee is $350, ('04, '05, '06, & '07 breeders, please see footnote #1), this fee will be paid when mares are dropped off. Multiple (three or more) mare breeders, see footnote #2.
* The mare care fee is $2 a day or $10 a week. This fee is void if mare owner's bring their own feed. If you wish to have your mares fed, but do not bring your own feed, you must let me know what your mares eat. The mare care fee will be paid at the time of drop off with an estimation of a six (6) week stay ($60), if the time is less than six weeks, the proper change will be returned; if the time is more than six weeks, the added mare care fee must be paid at time of pick up.
* All mares coming onto the Ranch must have a copy of negetive coggins test results, within the last year, turned into me to keep for my records before being exposed to Lucky Joe. I will do the same for you, upon request.
* All mares must be in over all good health, VEWT shot or equiv. is REQUIRED. Atleast one round of WNV shot is highly recommended. Please provide me with a copy of your mares shot records or the name and phone number to your Vet's office, (which ever is more convenient for you).
* There is no limit on how many mares can be exposed to Lucky Joe from the same owner. (Due to the low pasture space, even for our own livestock, only two mares will be allowed to stay).
* Mares will spend first day (minimum of 6 hours) in the corral where they will be introduced to Lucky Joe and observed for temperment, and have their weight and height measured, then the following day, they will be turned out with Lucky Joe for pasture breeding. If hand breeding is required, I will contact you before attempting.
* I will keep you updated on all observed breedings and will let you know in advance when your mares will be ready for pick up, though you are welcome to come and pick up your mares at any time, with proper notice. ***If you do not know when your mare's cycle is, I recommend the mares stay six (6) weeks, just to be sure she will be exposed for an entire cycle.***
* If your mares do not take, you are welcome to bring your mares back for another breeding, no charge applied except for the mare care fee (if applicable).
* If your mares are registered a copy of her papers must be turned into me to keep for my records. I will do the same for you - upon request.

#1: If you are a 2004 breeder, the 2004 stud fee applies. ($150)
If you are a 2005 breeder, the 2005 stud fee applies. ($200)
If you are a 2006 breeder, the 2006 stud fee applies. ($250)
If you are a 2007 breeder, the 2007 stud fee applies. ($300)
#2: If you decide to bring three (3) or more mares for the 2008 breeding, a $50 discount per mare will be applied. The Multiple Mare 2008 stud fee is $300. The Multiple Mare discount does not apply for 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007 breeders. Only 2008 breeders will be allowed to take advantage of the multiple mare discount.
*** The Multiple Mare Discount will not apply until the 3rd mare is on the premises ***
