This page was created by me, Eric Flaim, to document the history and current happenings of our family. Lourdes and Paul Flaim, my parents met when both were in college in Washington, D.C. Lourdes Nieves was born in Puerto Rico and Paul Flaim in Italy. After marrying they settled in Bowie, Maryland and had two sons. Their oldest son, John Paul (a radio show host in D.C. - see below), married Carol McMunn in 1998 and just had their first child, daughter Kelsie. I am the youngest son and work as a stock broker in New York and recently married Elizabeth Danneberg. Paul Flaim is now retired, after working as an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. Lourdes Nieves Flaim just retired from a very successful career at the Bureau of the Census.
