Media Reviews
New Philly Hip Hop Artist Brings Real Hip Hop back to the streets. Checkout some of the reviews of the CD:
Matthias is a prodigy in every since of the word. He is an exceptional producer, song writer and lyricist. His "I still remember" CD is a breath of fresh air to the Hip Hop Community. With all the negativity in Rap Music, Matthias rises above the rest. I have not heard a Hip Hop artist more dedicated to the true meaning of Hip Hop than Matthias. If he continues on this pace, he will definitely be one of the greats.
Thomas Quinn, Philadelphia City Times February 11, 2005
There are not too many Hip Hop Artists that rap about real issues in the community. Matthias has broken into an arena that the industry must recognize. I am sure he will be the next Kanye West of the Hip Hop game.
Mike Richards Urban Hip Hop Magazine January 16, 2005
Yo, Matthias' new CD "I Still Remember" is hands down the best CD I heard this year. He has single handedly changed the nature of commerical Hip Hop and restored it back to its roots. Keep up the good work. Let me know when the video is being shoot.

Matthias and the Hype
"I just wanna do Gods will." I believe Hip Hop music is about the Hood. Meaning that the stuff other Hip Hop Artists are spittin ain't real to most people. How can you talk about bling bling, killin a nigga, selling drugs, etc. etc. when most people don't do that shit? Many black people live check to check. Bling bling my ass. That ain't real to most of the people in the Hood. What niggaz can really relate to is not having a job, getting overlooked for that promotion, sistas being told they are ugly because their hair is naturally kinky, kids gettin free lunch tickets in school because moms ain't got no money, being homeless, gettin unemployment because your job laid you off, getting a chick pregnant you just met, standing on the corner cold as shit waiting for the bus, shit like that. Yeah there is drugs and killin going on in our community, but most people are suffering because of society, not because of crack. That is the biggest lie about the black community that is promoted by many of these dumb as rappers out there. Shit, if you listen to Hip Hop these days too much, you would think everybody is doped up, killing each other and ridin on twenties. Not true folks. That isn't how it really is. My music reflects the real streets. So check me out. One
