Gary Lawrence, well-known in south Florida as an outstanding pianist, bandleader, vocalist-entertainer, for over 30 years, formed The Virtual Quintet to provide the musical quality of a 5-piece combo with the economy of a one-man band. The Virtual Quintet is a low-cost alternative to a band -- just see our Price List. The Virtual Quintet is patterned after the unique musical approach of the George Shearing Quintet. By combining piano, guitar and vibes, Shearing created one of the most readily-identifiable and widely-imitated styles in the history of music. Gary Lawrence has brought back this wonderful sound and has made his music available to condominiums, country clubs, ballrooms, recreational facilities and private parties. The quintet's special music is also appropriate for clubs, festivals and concert venues. The Virtual Quintet has a repetoire of hundreds of songs (for a partial list, see our Songlist. Of course, when it comes to music -- one listen is worth a thousand words! Therefore, we invite you to listen to the Real Media samples. After hearing this fabulous "combo," and perusing the list, we're sure you'll agree that Gary Lawrence has accomplished his goal -- delivering quality music at an extremely reasonable cost!
