So, you want to know why you should purchase this particular herb book when there are hundreds to choose from. Why is this one different?
This herb book is in a spiral notebook format. Yup yup yup, spiral. It is easy to read (alphabetical order) and self explanatory. On every page there is plenty of room for you to write. It is geared for you, especially for you to write personal notes, add suggestions from other people or from articles you have read. It is for the little notes you mark down yourself, as reminders for which herbs worked best for you, your family and friends.
You can learn how to lose weight naturally, remedies for headaches, cramps, colds, flu, infection, improve your skin, etc. How to look younger ... yup yup yup! It's in there! Really and it works. Do I look 49 to you? 49! As in almost 50. And no I have never had any cosmetic surgery ... at all ... ever.
Have I been overweight? Yes, and I lost the excess weight utilizing my herbal knowledge.
Do I go to the doctor? Of course, I do. Modern medication is an important part of my survival for my health. However, it is a rare occasion when I take prescription medication.
Do I self-diagnose? Oh my ... no, I do not in any way, shape or form self-diagnose. I am not a doctor. I cannot and will not treat myself, my family or friends with herbs without a consultation from a medical doctor stating what the health problem is ... and if the person needs to take modern medication in place of herbs, then that is what they need to do. I am not against modern medicine. I am against the over use and abuse of modern medication. Why take aspirin for swelling when you can drink ginger tea and get all the natural benefits that go with ginger root? Why make lemonade from those little packages when you can use real lemons? And get all the benefits from natural lemons? (ok, confess I do use the little packages sometimes)
True story ... I have a friend who started complaining because she was always tired. She ate right, wasn't overweight but she worked 12 hour days. She drank maybe one cup of coffee a day and loved her teas. She had some knowledge about herbs and came to me for help. The first thing I asked was  "What did the doctor say?"
However, my first thought was ... maybe she is anemic, she looks pale. After she told me she had been adding mint to her teas, I suggested that she stop adding the mint and go to the doctor.
She listened. I am glad she listened. It was her heart and she had to have heart surgery. That is why we need our health care providers!
I have been using natural remedies for as long as I can remember. My grand-mother had an herb garden when I was younger. I remember one time when I stayed at her house for a week when she had picked the herbs and hung them upside down in her kitchen. I always wondered why she did that. Now I know.
When my first child was born, I was determined to give her the best natural food I could. It was my first attempt at growing vegetables. Ha, well that didn't quite work out as well as I had planned, so off to the produce market I went ... and it all started there. That was 25 years ago. Oh my, 25 years!
Now, I grow my own veggies and buy from the produce market, as well. I also grow my own herbs and purchase many herbs from our local apothecary. Yes, they do exist. They are still around and when you start purchasing herbs, please make sure they have not been sprayed with ewwwwwwwwww ... bug spray!
Onward to looking younger! Feeling younger! and to your good health!
Enjoy and welcome to the world of herbs.
