JUSTICE FOR JUSTIN MCWILLIAMS
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
JUSTIN MCWILLIAMS (Big Mac)
#26...forever in our hearts
January 26, 1982 - April 7, 2002
IMPORTANT UPDATE TO JUSTINS CASE:

MARCH 28, 2003:
______________________________________________________________
Today a hearing was held, charges against Justin Allen for leaving the scene of an accident were dismissed.  Apparently, this was due to a legal "loophole".
If you continue to believe in "Justice for Justin" and accountability, now more than ever we need your help.  Please send letter, emails & make phone calls to our State Attorney's Office and Governor Bush telling our judicial system that we demand accountability for Justin McWilliams.  They need to know that we're watching & will continue waiting because we feel so strongly in our hearts and in our minds that justice has not been served.  They need to understand that everyone needs to take responsibility for their actions including the justice system & we intend to hold them accountable also.  These entities represent the people of Florida, that includes Justin McWilliams.  It is our right to demand JUSTICE FOR JUSTIN.  Remember together we can be heard and we can make a difference. Email addresses as follows:
State Attorneys Office:  ewilcox@sao9.org
Governor Bush:  Jeb@myflorida.com
Please don't forget to copy me on all your emails/letters.

Again, thank you all for your continued support and help in our fight to obtain JUSTICE FOR JUSTIN.
Jamie & Mark McWilliams

To Justin From Mom & Dad:

I wanted to share the words to this beautiful placque that your Dad gave me on Christmas Day. It was as if these words were written for our family. God is staying with us Justin. We are very thankful for his love and strength.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again.

And so it shall my sweet Justin. We will celebrate the New Year of 2003 remembering how very lucky we are to have been blessed with you in our lives for twenty (20) wonderful years, along with all of the wonderful friends and families that you have left behind to watch over us.

Happy New Year Honey, this year I know your safe in Heaven.

The following was written in memory of Justin by a good friend,
Blake Bodenmiller:

To the family: Justin was a great teammate, friend, and I am glad I had the opportunity to spend time with him. Justin will never be forgotten and his memory will live in my heart forever. He could never be duplicated in any way, shape, or form. He was one in a million and will be missed dearly.

To Justin's friends: I know what you are going through. The only difference is that I'm dealing with it 400 miles away. Don't ever forget the good times you had with Justin. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

To Justin's teammates: Every time you set foot on a baseball field, remember #26. Go wipe off home plate for old times sake and admire the view of the right field wall. Don't look over the wall because we all know Justin only had "warning track power." Sorry had to add some humor in there because I'm about to tear up. When you have kids someday (some of you might have them now but that's ok) teach them the importance of being a team player and hard working. Make sure they are not catchers because there might be little Bodenmiller's running around bouncing curveballs in the dirt. I KNOW SOMEDAY WE WILL ALL TAKE THE FIELD TOGETHER, PLAYING IN THE BALLPARK IN THE SKY.  SEE YA AT THE PARK BIG MAC.

Loved, respected and missed by so many...
Justin, Gram put a book at the cemetary in
a tupperware bowl, such a great idea..still so many of your friends
and family visit weekly, some almost daily.
The sentiments written in your book are those of
sadness, lost friendships, lost love..everyone looking for
answers.  Help us, your friends and family to find
peace.
