~ New Paintings can now be seen in the Paint Studio . For some time my primary area of interest has been collage. Finding myself incorporating more and more painted elements, guided entirely by intuition rather than an understanding of the medium or skill, I decided to take an introductory acrylic class this fall. The pieces in the Paint Studio are very experimental and very rough, but I hope that they may inspire others to explore something new.

Fleur-di-lys (8 1/2 x 11 collage with mixed media and xylene transfer)

The Alternative Arts Gallery includes several rooms, organized by media. Collage pieces can be viewed in the Tangled Up in Blue Gallery, as well as in the Artistbook Galleries (incorporating Polaroid photo and emulsion transfers). Tonal drawings are located in the Sketch Book and recent explorations in acrylic media are located in the Paint Studio .
