A SLICE OF PARIDISE IN SOUTH BEACH
Alyssa’ Beach Loft is the name we gave our privately owned studio apartment located at 1801 Collins Ave, Room #730. The studio is located inside of the top rated Art Deco designed, Shelborne Hotel and Beach Resort in the heart of Miami Beach, Florida. The resort is on the Ocean Side of Collins Avenue/A1A. Our studio has an incredible view of the Art Deco District.
The resort is approximately 10 miles east of the Miami International Airport. We are approximately 6 miles north east of the American Airline Arena (basketball games and concerts), 8 miles east from Miami's Orange Bowl (for college games / soccer) and/ or 19 miles southeast from Miami's Pro Player Stadium (professional football or and the baseball playoffs.)
We are within walking distance (approximately 2 to 4 blocks) of Lincoln Road Mall, Grand Symphony, Bass Museum of Art, the Jackie Gleason Performing Arts Center, and the Miami Beach Convention Center. Casino Boat Cruises, Deep Sea Fishing Charters, Golf Courses, and Dive Charters are 10 minutes away.
The resort has private access to the warm, sandy, tropical beaches that ranked South Beach as one of the Top Ten Beaches in World, by Travel Channel in 2002, 2003, and 2004. This area is also a hot spot for the glamorous nightclubs that are commonly featured in major magazines and cable channels. We are 15 blocks north of world famous "Ocean Drive" were the stars party.
The resort has an oversized swimming pool surrounded by Palm Trees, two hot tubs, an exercise room, a restaurant, and an indoor and poolside bars. The hotel offers massage services, has a small gift shop, and a nightclub on its premises.
Our studio apartment is fully furnished and we took pride in decorating it in a warm South Florida motif. Palm tree themes and works of arts by local and international artist add a touch of class and tranquility to our room. The room has a king size bed and a full- size sofa bed with pillow top. The room comfortably sleeps four. Up to six soft pillows can be provided for your comfort. The room has a 27-inch remote control color TV with cable channels. Our spacious closets have plenty of shelves, hanging racks, and a small dresser for additional clothes. An iron and ironing board is also provided, as well as a full length mirror.
Our studio apartment has a kitchenette, which includes a sink, a compact refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, electric teakettle, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a dining room table to accommodate up to four. A blender, an in-room icemaker, and an ice bucket are included for homemade tropical drinks. (A toaster oven, espresso maker, electric hot plate, and one of the finest sets of cookware are also available at additional cost.)
We also provide all of our guests with plenty of Martha Stewart quality bathroom towels. Two beach chairs, beach towels, a portable cooler, and a portable radio/ cd player are also included for our guests free of charge.

IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS AND RATES
Since my wife and I are the owners of this apartment, we take pride in offering the best for our guests. We can offer incredible discounts to all of our guests, as compared to other hotel rentals in the beach, which average $175 to $225 per night. We can offer the luxury of early check-in or late checkouts (subject to availability).
Our guests have free access to the hotel's common and recreational areas which include: the pool, lounge chairs, hot tubs, gym, private access to the beach, lobby, etc. There are few restrictions. (These restrictions include:)
1. No Maid Service, Front Desk, or Room Service will be provided. Concierge service is available and free of charge, and a gratuity is always welcomed if they provide a good service.
2. The hotel employees will not provide the guests of private owners with bathroom towels or any other type of linens. Pool towels are available from the hotel and free of charge.(At check in and stock up your room w/ the finest linens and towels. We can also come by on a weekly basis to supply our guests with fresh towels and linnens)
3. The hotel does not offer valet parking to owners or their guests, But there are plenty of city owned meters next to the hotel and across the street from it. For those considering meter parking, we can obtain a $25 debit-parking card (additional charge) from the City of Miami Beach, which can be used at their meters instead of using coins. Alternate parking in city owned garages are available approximately two blocks away and should be considered as an alternative during holidays when all hotel parking lots and parking meters are filled to capacity.
4. No smoking or pets are allowed in the room. If you are found smoking in the room, a steam cleaning charge of $65 will be deducted from your deposit.
5. Lastly, all payments are made to us and not to the hotel. The payments must be paid either before or the date that you check in. On that date, we will meet with you, go over an inventory list, and provide keys to the room.
On the day that you check in, we can only accept U.S. currency, U.S. Postal Office money orders, or cashier's checks (made out to Jim Navarro). Keep in mind, Alyssa’s Beach Loft is our advertising name and checks or money orders should not be made out to that name). Credit Card/ or Debit Card Payments can only be accepted via the Internet by "PAY-PAL On-line Payment System", but full payment must be received via the Internet at least fourteen days in advance.
WE WILL REQUIRE $100 TO $300 SECURITY DEPOSIT PRIOR TO OR ON THE DAY THAT YOU CHECK IN. THIS DEPOSIT IS IN ADDITION TO THE FULL PAYMENT FOR YOUR STAY. YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU AT CHECKOUT OR MAILED TO YOU WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER CHECK OUT, MINUS ANY DAMAGES OR THEFT FROM THE STUDIO AND/ OR EXTREME EXCESSIVE WEAR AND TEAR (up to $75 extra cleaning fee, otherwise, no cleaning fees)
RESERVATIONS WILL ONLY BE CONFIRMED, AFTER A 30% TO 50% DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIEVED. (Your deposit will NOT BE REFUNDED, if you cancel your reservation within 25 days of your check-in date. iF you cancel 26 days or later, then we will refund your money, minus a $100 processing fee. So please look into travel insurance before you send us your deposit)
