no more sweeties for meeeeeee!
First Journal  11th March 2001

I'm overweight by 2 stone
got to get fit and toned
Chocolate, sweets and cheese
are all of my weaknesses

I'm a 14 up top and 16 around the hips
too many cakes have passed my lips
Not good when your only 5 foot 1
with a size 30 inch tum

I started my diet yesterday
following weight watchers I find the best way
Stuck to my fridge are photos of when I was slim
i'm determind this time to get trim

I'll report back to let you know how i've done
and hopefully i'll have a slimmer bum and tum
  
Had a fight with the cheese and crackers
13th March 2001

I woke up this morning feeling good
 jumped on the scales, scales you've misunderstood
Come on for 3 days i've counted points in my food
now i'm really in a foul mood

Guess what the scales were saying?
That i've gained a pound at this weigh in
How can this be
why does this always happen to me?

I've really watched what i've put on my plate
the scales are supposed to be my mate
So needless to say i've had a bad day
but tomorrow I'll keep the chocolate at bay

5 minutes pass by

Alright i'm back just took a break
went off to the kitchen to make
Ok Ok I confess
that i've just had cheese and crackers oh, what a mess!

If only I hadn't gained that pound today
I would not of eaten all that food, no way
I'm going to promise myself
from now on the chocolate and crisps will stay on the shelf
  

Good news 14th March 2001

I've weighed myself again today
the bathroom scales have something new to say
That pound that I put on
has come off, theres something wrong
Has my metabalism just come to a stand still
either that or i'm ill
Why do most lose 4 to 5 lbs in their first week
1 to 2 if i'm lucky this is looking bleak
Now I wish that yesterday I hadn't pigged out
because i'm a day behind or there about
I'm back  28th March 2001
It's been tough these past 2 weeks
with everything looking so bleak
But now i'm back to try again
I do well for about 3 days and then
I blow it and pig out
I've got to try harder without a doubt

So far i've lost a pound
but surfing the net i've found
That i'm a little confused about what to eat
Is it less fat, carbs and calories
and do I eat more meat
I think i'll stick to about 1200 calories a day
and eat less fat which I do anyway
