Julia "Jude" Shannon-Caulfield
born Julia McCarthy she took her step-father's name of Shannon when her mother remarried in1850.
She married Michael Cailfield in 1857. She had eight children, William, Johanna, John, Ellen, Edward, Katherine, James F.& John Eugene (my grandfather).
