Would you like to be part of a loving cause??!!
I know all of us are grieving and in shock since the attack on Sept. 11th. I lost someone very close to me and my family that day, 32 year old NYC Firefighter Tommy Foley of Rescue 3. He was only one of 343 firefighters who never came home. Maybe you too have lost someone you know and love. Well there is something, we as quilter's, can do.
You and your friends can adopt your very own NYC Firehouse by making lap size quilts, donated directly to the firehouse of your choice.
My friend AnnaMarie Tucker and I have started with Rescue 3. Then "Missing Fabrics" picked up their needles and adopted Ladder 4. This is only the beginning towards achieving our goal.... getting quilts to the families of every lost firefighter ! !
