Who, What Where When and Why is ScotRadio?

WHO? ScotRadio is the independent voice of the Gaelic and Celtic community broadcasting World Wide 24/7.

What? ScotRadio is a multimedia broadcasting service providing entertainment, news, education and information to the Celtic community via computer streaming, remote on location live broadcasts, and research web pages. ScotRadio provides many other services for our listeners and our community.

Where? Right on your computer with our free software. Just RIGHT click the Lion.

When? 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Except when we get booted off and then we come back ASAP. We hope to be T1 soon.

Why? Because we of Celtic and Gaelic heritage have been silent too long.

Our Mission Statment

1: To provide the Celtic and Gaelic community with an independent voice.
2: To support associations, societies and the Celtic community in general.
3: To provide our community with entertainment, education and information.
4: To respond to the needs and requests of our community.
5: To support the arts and talents of our Celtic and Gaelic community.
6: To work as a communication hub for the Celtic and Gaelic community, in the hope of bringing our community closer together.
7: To enhance and to educate our and other communities about the great contribution we have made to the world. It is impossible to pass a day anywhere in this world and not be influenced by the invention of a Celt.

Community Outreach Programs

ScotRadio. will be glad to help any organization or effort to raise funds, provide entertainment or take part in any community program free of charge.

1: ScotRadio provides MC and music services for dances, dinners, and other fund raising efforts or parties.

2: ScotRadio. will be happy to bring out our historical displays and give lectures to any groups.

3: ScotRadio. takes great pleasure in going to class rooms with our educational and historic displays. Please note if we can not get to your area we can supply teachers with materials and teachers guides.

POLICY STATEMENT

While ScotRadio attempts at all times to take a non political stance, we feel it is our obligation to advise our listeners that our personal sympathies lie with the Scottish Independence Movement.

This does not me mean we are against any other country or people and we deplore any attempts to make any person feel unwelcome in our nation. It is our hope that we can contiue to join our neighbors, as an independent nation, in a political union that is beneficial to all, in a peaceful and orderly manner and that every person who visits Scotland will enjoy the trditional warmth and welcome that Scotland is famous for.
