VROC= Vulcan Riders Owners Club!  Where you can find Vulcan Riders from all over the world. You have a question and you'll find the answer here. Plus info on who, where, when about motorcycling. Come join today and talk internationally to someone who has the same ride as you.
Yahoo VN750 = An offspring of VROC, the 750 club was started by Jax to focus more specifically on the 750. You won't find the additional trash talk that sometimes makes it's way into VROC. Although many of us belong to both, if you have a question
or problem with the 700/750 this is the place to be. In both groups you will find great people willing to help. Planning to take a trip? Check who lives in the area and write down their numbers. If you have a mechanical breakdown or worse in a fender bender you'll have immediate assistance.  Ride Safe and enjoy.

These are some shots of my Vulcan, then and now. It is a 1994 which I purchased in
June of 1994 off the floor of Valley Cycle, Winchester, Va. At that time Jim was in the
old shop on Kent Street. I initially looked at a "Hog" but couldn't afford it at the time. I
paid $5389 for my Vulcan. Presently she has 24,300 miles on her. (why do we refer to
them as females- is it the ride we get or the love we have for them. I think both). 2001
almost made a mistake and traded her in. Wanted a new look and my brother has a
big old "Hog". Went to the local Harley shop and got snubbed. Got pissed and went to
see Holly at Valley Cycle who hooked me up with some Cobra slip on's. Blab-blab
-blab-blab-blab!!!!!!!!!!! That began my quest to customize the bike. The reason? It's
easy to buy mods for big bikes and slap them on. Not too many fully customized
750's. It's a long term project and it won't look like everyone else's. Started with the
pipes, then Mustang seat. Spring 2001- a lot of chrome, including some from
Bikercom.com in Spain who bought out Highway Hawk. Hard to find customizing parts
in the US as most shops start with the 800's. August 2001, replaced all cables, brake
lines, fuel lines, water hoses, and vacuum lines with ss braided ones."Coasters" from
Sherm's got rid of the popping noise from the exhaust. This past winter (2001) tore
bike down to where the engine and rear wheel were the only things left on frame. Did
major cleaning and polishing. Sent some parts to Brown's Plating to be chromed. Put
Jardine forward controls on. Covered all wires with SS hoses. Removed horns. Put tool
pouch on front to cover neck area. New larger horns went on either side to cover carb
area. Polished the forks. Chrome nut/bolt covers. Even covered those plastic fork caps
with chrome axle covers from the local HD shop. Added a little color by putting on
purple lighted tag bolts and purple neon pods from Kuryakyn that are mounted under
the tank. Winter 2002 Progressive springs in front and 412's on rear which lowered it 2
inches. Chrome dust covers on forks. Polished calipers, engine covers, rear end, and
bevel case, master cylinder, and triple tee's. Chromed dash and rt. engine cover. Oil
pressure gauge and battery meter added. EC conversion for rear lights. Painted engine
and frame. Now out of $ so it's time to RIDE!...
Jan 2004. What's new? Did the Ear Shave and Wig Wag mods. I think I'm done messing now. The bike is ten years old and
