I was introduced to printmaking (relief) in 2000. Although painting in oils is my favourite medium, I enjoy very much the process of carving the wood blocks to make these prints. Yet another world has opened for me - the feel and beauty of different woods, the huge range of cutting tools (it satisfies my hardware fetish), how the image in my head and original drawing sometimes has to change because of the nature of the wood... great fun!
