Glenn Davis Nuclear Love Recording Studio Sessions

The Nuclear Love Sessions

So analog sweet, the sounds from rolling tapes on the Studers is so excellent, that there is nothing better than having them come out of the SSL to bring us all to heaven. Smooth as butter and sweet like gant, Nuclear Love is a great song. From it's earliest days to today, Nuclear Love is probably one of, if not the best Glenn Davis Songs on the planet. A culmination of old, new and pioneering recording maneuvers that are thankfully here for all time.  "It's effin' endless", Glenn says of the final foil wrap copy, "creating the perfect mix is like painting a 747 with Q-tips". But as always, his music artistry is perfect genius and the stand out, in-your-face "hit sound" is ear candy in all the best flavors. The Madonna and Tina Turner style backups. The shimmering FM vintage keys with that "pet shop boys" influence. The best guitar solo of all time. The total time and cost to produce Nuclear Love will never be known. Yes. A timeless and priceless masterpiece.

"Gordon, you look like you need to be out in the sun more, are you stoned again?"

"Glenn, no sponsors on that americans online web site you got?"

"My pet unicorn is the sponsor"

"Pet unicorns are cool"
"Ed Goodreau was perfect". "His intense attention to every little detail of the final stages of production were beyond human." "Each time we rolled a playback without touching anything, we heard new things....it was bloody brilliant".
