Ana
Ana
Well, we are thrilled to report that Ana is in the building!

It is so exciting for us to have Annie's great grand daughter join the family. It seems an age ago since Annie was taken from us (October 2006) but finally we have a little lady who carries Annie's line forward. Nobody could ever replace our dearest girl but to know she is somewhere in there when we look at baby Ana, pronounced Honour (O-no) in Hungarian, is really special for us.

We didn't expect her to be like her great grandma but it is so touching to see those same sad eyes, the very same head tilt & that little leg stook out to one side when she sits down contemplaiting what to chew next!

Already she is retrieving beautifully.

This summer is going to be a great time for us, watching her grow & florish. She has made a great friend in Fickó from the start. I feel sorry for the poor lad when he shares his crate with her when tavelling, having to put up with a tiny pup swinging off his neck by her teeth! She is a thug, there is no doubt about it!

As she progresses, we will update her page.
So, here we are 5 months on. Ana is 7 months old & a real hot potato! Boy is she fast! We were so thrilled to see Annie's charactoristics in the first few weeks but her own unique personality over took those things we recognised & we soon got to know her individual ways ;o)
Let's just say that she does not take after her mother's side that much. This little girl is going to take some serious training due to her enthusiasm, speed & the fact she has the attention of a goldfish!
She is bold, will happily walk up to our oldest girls & just snatch anything they are eating off them, only for them to say 'oh yeh, you eat it then & I'll ask mum for another.' That is, when she is not too busy to eat, the world is such an exciting place for her, she is too busy to eat or sleep.
Although she fills us with dread when we see how hot she is & how much steadying up she will need, she is very loving (if you like being smacked in the face all day with muddy but loving paws!) & she has such a good sense of fun, you can't help but laugh at this little mini me sized girlie who rules the roost. Her latest trick is to sit up to the dinner table, on a spare chair & observe the family meal. Of course, you can't help yourself, so she sits up to the table wearing a napkin now, if Annie could see her, I wonder what on earth she would think?!
OK kiddo, so the deal is...................you sit still in there, looking cute & I'll carry you about in the manly looking baby sling that we got of eBay!

All this posing for photos is exhausting!
