Little did we know that Annies arrival into our family would spark off what is now the VERY early stages of the Recuerdo Kennel.
I decided , after looking after & walking Annie when Dad was busy that i wanted a Dog of my own , & so the search & research for the right breed began.............................

This is Sasha , whom i bought in 1999.
She was bought as my companion & for me to work on the beating line along side my Dad as part of my rehabilitaion after a Road Traffic Accident in 1998 that left me with perminant injuries. This little girl gave me the confidence to leave the house on my own for the first time in nearly a year & she helped me focus on something other than my injuries. I owe so much to Sasha & although she has enjoyed success in the show ring , non of this means anything in comparison to what she has helped me achieve in my everyday life. This little girl will always hold a special place in my heart & i will be ever endebted to her.
The weekend she arrived at just under 8 weeks of age , she met my nephew who was 18 months old. together they slept on the sofa & pottered about the house & they formed from that very first day , a special bond which continues to remain strong. Sash is refered to as " Our Growed Up Girl " as she has never acted like a puppy but always been very ladylike & mature. It would seem that she really does understand that her breed was indeed designed by the Hungarian nobles to live with them as their companions & hunt along side them , even facing Wild Boar. Sadly ,we do not live on a large country estate but we know that Sasha secretly feels that is what she was destined for!! Poor Sasha , she will have to make do with what we have & be greatful for small mercies, making the most of her treasured electric blanket instead:o)

Sasha became a mum for the first & only time in 2004. We were proud to announce that we had a new member of the family , Sasha's daughter - Sari. look out for updates on her progress.
Sari's father is the very special boy - Sh Ch Craiginlea Candie "Bracken" We are proud to be connected with the Craiginlea Kennel & Bracken, who is the sweetest tempered & most handsome chap. The combination of Sasha's Hungarian Bloodlines & Bracken's superb pedigree containing the famous Galfrid lines proved to be an excellent combination for true Vizsla temperament.
