Nya is a bit of a loon!
She is a very sweet & kind girl but is very clumbsy! From the very start of her life , she was a live wire & when we came to set her up in a show stance at just 6 weeks of age..............we knew then that she would be a puppy with substance of charactor ;o)
In the first year of being shown , she has done very well at the Open & Championship shows. Consistantly placed either 1st , 2nd or 3rd & enjoying 3 Best Puppy in Breed's , 1 Best of Breed & 1 Reserve Best of Breed so far as well as being Best Puppy of the day at Bath Champ Shows Gundog Heat of the " Pup of the year ".
We are extremely proud of her wins , especially considering how difficult she can be when in the ring. Outside of the show ring she stands beautifully & runs around confidently with her tail in the air. Inside the ring , she is not cooperative but likes to jump up & down & make things as difficult as possible for me!!! However , she has still been successful in her carreer so far & we hope she will start to behave in the near future!
At home Nya is known to family & friends as " Naughty Nya " as she is never short of energy. At bedtime however , she is first in bed & like her father does with Gill , she sleeps in my arms like a baby.
On the Shoots , Nya is a good girl - suprisingly enough! This year we have seen her concentrate on the quarry more & hope that next season she will become a stounch pointer like her mum Bria.

6 Days before Nya was born our very precious Red Point Siamese Neuter Girl - CHOULA , was stolen. After a year of hoping & praying that she would return , thinking that someone would scan her chip or report her to Pet Log etc we realised that she was not coming home. Nya never learnt respect for our other 2 Cats who would permit her to pick them up & retrieve them - NOT good at all!
We felt it was time to invite another Red Point into our home ,so we hunted for a relative of Choula. We are proud to say that we now have Azsun - Choula's neice & this picture just goes to show that Nya & Azsun think the world of each other. She is indeed a treasured member of the family although a little confused as to whether she is a kitten or a puppy!!
