I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I went to Ockley Green Elementry School where I graduated from the 8th grade in 1969.

I then attended Roosevelt High School and Graduated in 1973.

In October of 1973, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and became a Field Radio Operator (MOS 2531), and after radio school I was stationed in Okinawa Japan. My nickname was BigRed. While in the Marines I served aboard two Naval Vessels, the USS Vancouver & the USS Ogden. Both were LPD's (Landing Port Dock). On the Ships we cruised from Okinawa to the Phillipines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In the spring of 1975 I was stationed in Camp Pendleton, Ca. until Jan 1976 when I received an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Corporal.

I then attended Portland Community College and received my AA in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
|

|
I spent the next 23 years at the Boeing Airplane Company until May of 2002. I moved here to Seaside in Dec of 2001 and comuted my last 6 months between Seaside Oregon and Auburn Washington Where I worked at the Auburn Boeing Complex.

Now my wife and I reside in Seaside, Oregon. Here we spend our time relaxing and having fun at the beach. We both enjoy Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) as a hobby.
