Shopping? AGAIN?!!
Well, hello there! Nice of you to drop in, even assuming your motivations are more voyeuristic than intellectual. No problem; as my 18-year-old daughter so eloquently puts it, "Whatever." Have fun!

My name is Lannie, and I am a pre-operative transsexual lady. (NOT a "shemale", a "trannie", or any other such offensive term, thank you.) I live in Southern California, in the resort town of Palm Springs. It's really a fine place to live; I quite enjoy the killer summertime heat and utter lack of culture. (Our "cultural center" is named after Bob Hope... see what I mean?) The scene here consists mostly of golf, tennis, swimming pools, Indian casinos, skin cancer, and wealthy senior citizens causing car wrecks. Everything costs a fortune, which keeps away the riff-raff, (except me). All you poor snow-bound citizens, c'mon down! You can get a second-degree blistering sunburn in only an hour or so, then go lose a king's ransom at the casino...   : )

What would you like to know about me? Well, I look younger than I am, which is nice. I'm older than I feel, which isn't as nice. I was raised in an atmosphere of literary celebrity and got to meet everyone from Charles Laughton to Yitzhak Rabin to Henry Fonda. I graduated from Princeton in 1973 with a degree in English (I've since changed my name to protect the innocent) then spent years doing everything from running a business on the Red Sea to raising registered Black Angus cows on a farm in Virginia. Beyond that I'm funny, gracious, kind, loving, and  bored by idiots, phonies,  and sex cruisers. (If you are any of the above, please, don't let me know.) I have a fabulous daughter, a generic tabbycat, a leased Honda Accord, lots of pretty clothes, and many wonderful friends. Our local GLBT magazine ran a feature article of mine: T-Girl In Paradise.  I also enjoy writing occasional poetry.

I'm blessed beyond measure to have recently married the most wonderful GGirlfriend in the world. She's smart, gentle, kind, beautiful, and we intend to remain together for the rest of our lives.

I want to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe life. Thank you for taking the time to visit, and maybe we'll see each other around the pool!

Take care, and Peace be with you!   ; )
