2007/2008 Season Dates:
Ducks, Coots and Mergansers: Reelfoot Duck Zone
Nov 10-11 and Dec 1 - Jan. 27 2008 - Reelfoot Lake Duck Zone shall include the waters of Reelfoot Lake. The daily bag limit of ducks is six, and may include no more than four mallards (only one hen), one black mallard, two wood ducks, one pintail, one canvasback, two scaup, and two redheads. Daily bay limits of Coot is 15, possession 30.
You will need your gun, shells, warm camo clothing and warm boots. 12 ga. is fine. #1,#2 and/or BB's. Temperatures are normally mid 20s at night to 30s in day but can be below zero also.
Breakfast and lunch served in the blind. Coffee and water in the blind. If you want cokes and such, bring your own. There is a food market close to the hunting club.
The drive from the club to the boat ramp is about 10 minutes. Boat ride to the blind will take about 10 minutes.
