Reiki (Ray-key) is based on the principle of Universal Life Energy or Chi. This modality involves light hands-on placements to channel healing energies to the recipients body and visualization serving to align chakras and bring healing energy to the entire body. While the practitioner may vary widely in technique and philosophy, Reiki is commonly used to treat emotional and mental distress as well as chronic and acute physical problems, and to assist the recipient in achieving spiritual focus and clarity.
