Many are those who knock your door saying : " We are calling out for our
Lord and we have his true book." Many are those books who claim to be
the true book of God.
But we should say to all those who claim: ( Say: produce your proof if you
are honest and telling the truth . * ) 2 : - 111.
In the Qur’an God advised us to be always suspicious of old notions and
ideas and views we had inherited from our ancestors, and start looking
immediately for proofs .
In the Qur’an God is reminding us to be always suspicious of all old ideas
and beliefs in any religion without any exceptions.
( "No" they say " We found our fathers believing in a certain religion and we
shall follow their footsteps" * So we never sent a Warner before you
"Mohammed" to any people unless the wealthy ones among them start
saying "We found our fathers following a certain religion and we will
certainly follow their footsteps " * When their Messenger said: " What! even
if I bring you better guidance than that which you found your fathers
following ?"
They always said : " For us we deny what you are sent for [ at all ] . " * ) 43 :
- 22-23-24.
That is why we make our golden rule based on the Qur’an :
( And follow not their vain desires diverging from the truth that has come to
you.* ) 5 : -48.
( Then we put you on the " right way of religion " : So follow that and never
follow the desires of those who don’t know "the truth." * ) 45 : 18.
So what shall we find in the Qur’an as proofs ?
( O.. Mankind ! verily there has come to you a convincing proof from your
Lord and we have sent to you a light "That is" manifest. * ) 4 : - 174.
There are many kinds of proofs in the Qur’an showing that no one except
God himself can bring such proofs :
( Say : if the whole of mankind and jinn’s were to gather and work together
to produce the Like of this Qur’an they could not produce the Like thereof,
even if they backed up each other with help and support . * ) 17 : - 88.
What is that proof ? .. And why it is so hard to produce such proof ?
