RUTHIE'S ROCKS
Welcome to my web page of painted animal rocks. Each one is unique, and a work of art. I love to paint them, especially the eyes. (This gives each one a unique personality!)
Each animal rock is for sale. I also take special orders, if you have a special request for something you don't see pictured here. These are just a sample of the ones I've done. And I'm always willing to try painting anything new. For example, if you'd like a rock portrait of your pet, all I need is a good picture of him or her, and the size of rock you desire.
Small painted rocks make attractive paperweights. Medium stones are excellent doorstops. And large stones can be used as yard and garden decorations, or memorials for beloved pets.
The rocks I use are all shapes and sizes. Some are flat, some are round, and others may stand upright. Some even come in odd shapes.
After the rocks are painted, I spray them with clear acrylic spray, to keep them clean and dry. If your painted rock will be living outside, additional acrylic spray will be needed a couple of times a year for maintenance.
