About Rim Country Garrett Retirees Club

Rim Country Garrett Retirees is a retirees club made up of former AiResearch, Garrett, AlliedSignal, and Honeywell employees who live in Payson, Pine, Strawberry, or up on the rim. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at various venues in the Payson area. We welcome all visitors. We are primarily a social club and enjoy telling war stories about our days at the company. Come out and visit with your fellow retirees!

AUGUST MEETING (August 21, 2008)

Our August meeting will be a potluck at Rumsey Park in Payson. This meeting gives us an opportunity to sample the fine cooking of our members. Come bring a dish and enjoy the company of our fellow members. Remember the social hour is from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, and we eat at noon. Hope to see you there. Remember all Garrett, Allied-Signal, and Honeywell retirees are always welcome.

Membership

The Rim Country Garrett Retirees Club would like to invite fellow retirees, in Rim Country, to consider joining our group. This includes all Honeywell retirees. We currently are 106 strong and have a great time at our monthly luncheons.
We are very informal and the club affords an opportunity to visit with old friends from the company. Our dues are quite reasonable. The cost is $16.00 per year for a couple or $8.00 for an individual. We encourage both the husband and wife to become members. If both are members, we can acknowledge both birthdays and retirement dates if applicable. Yes, we celebrate both events.We also provide a membership directory that includes addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail address if applicable. To be a member we need the following information: Names, Address, Phone Number, E-mail address, if you have one, Birthday (Month & Day) Retirement Date (Month & Year). As of July 17 we have 106 paid members. Remember the deadline for paying dues was by the March meeting for all membership services to continue. Please submit your dues for 2008 if you plan on continuing your membership.

WE HAVE A NEW MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION (ASSOCIATE)

We have created a new membership classification called "Associate Member". This would allow non-Garrett individuals an opportunity to join our club.This membership will allow our club to grow and allow member's friends to join the club. These members will have full status in our club and can participate in all activities. Our club's main focus is socializing and contributing to the various charities in our Rim Country communities.
