POW/MIA's You Are Not Forgotten

I'd like to start by giving you an idea of why I'm dedicated to the POW-MIA cause. I am a Soldier, a Sergeant First Class in the US Army, to be specific. I am a Mortuary Affairs Specialist (MOS 92M). These pictures were taken while I was stationed with the US Army Central Identification Laboratory- Hawaii (USACIL-HI) (Now Joint POW-MIA Accounting Command- JPAC) who's job is to search out and recover deceased personnel from previous wars.

We hope that one day, we will never have to inter another soldier into the Tomb Of The Unknowns. With more and more advances in Mitochondrial DNA testing, this is becoming a reality.

We all gave some..a little piece of ourselves.Some gave all...Their Lives, their freedom, their ways.

The Current MIA Count (as of Nov 2000) is 1,992 in Vietnam, 421 from Laos, 65 from Cambodia, and 8 from China from all branches of the Armed Forces and Civilians.

SPECIAL DEDICATION

To all the VETERANS of all wars who visit my page. I, as a current Sergeant in the US Army, salute each and every one of you. I realize the sacrifices you made when your country needed you. As a sergeant now, it is my mission to train the soldiers of today to perform the same mission as you did should the day arrive once more for us to go to War. I do not intend to let My soldiers, My Country, My Family, or Anyone else down.
