Who am I?
My name is Rob Mucha. I live in Southern California and
have been collecting baseball gloves and sports equipment for some time now. My favorite collecting activities include viewing other collector's gloves, finding items for other
collectors, and pulling off blockbuster trades. Speaking of trading, I'd like to thank those collectors around the country who
have provided me with some real softies!

Why GloveCrazy?
I picked this name because anyone who amasses a collection of over
400 baseball gloves has a bit of a screw loose. Looking back it's really been quite a blur,
but somehow I jumped from 10 to 100 to 400+ gloves in a short period of time. The scary
part is that it is still quite difficult to part with them -- but I'm willing to try!
I am also a bit twisted in that I only collect gloves that have flawless inner linings.
They have to have that certain feel or they do not stay in my personal collection very long.
How did I get started?
I've always been a huge baseball fan and baseball card collector. A combination of losing
my favorite glove and getting frustrated with card collecting led me into collecting gloves. I really enjoyed finding old
beat-up gloves and bringing them back to life. I started off pretty slow until I met some other collectors and then WHAM! I
was hooked. |

What do I collect?
My collection includes gloves from each era and type, strange
gloves, rare-endorsed, star-endorsed, and even non-endorsed gloves. Although my collecting interests have jumped around a bit, I am currently
most interested in the really old or really weird.

Where do I get gloves?
Back in the early days most of my gloves were purchased at flea markets across
the country -- arriving before dawn with flashlight in hand. However, because of my preference to sleeping in the mornings, I'd
rather reward those individuals who brave the elements by buying their finds. I also trade quite a bit and have been known to
lose control (and thus over-spend) at auctions.
