SALLY'S SEWING FOR SALE
I first learned how to sew, when I was 13 years old. That was in 1948. I must admit for a few years it left somethinig to be desired, but after a lot of practice, I think I am pretty good at it. I really have been collecting dolls all of my life, but I became a doll collector in the sense of it being a hobby not too long after I got married, which was in 1956. The most fun I have had is sewing for my dolls, and I have deliberately bought dolls who came undressed or had lost their clothes, so that I could dress them. In 1970, I started making wooden dolls to have yet more dolls to dress. In 1973 I joined the United Federation of Doll Clubs. I have also been a member of Friends of Hitty since 1998.

As time goes by, I want to share some of my work by selling it. I have to use up all the fabrics and things that I have collected over the years too. From time to time I will have something to offer here.

Here are some of the things I have made in the past. These have either been sold, or I have made them for myself.

I have made quite a few dresses and things for Hitty, some for myself and some for other people. These two dresses were made for DeAnn Cote's Hitty Kin and have both been sold.

I made this dress for my own Tiny Kitty Collier. I like to make dresses with attached petticoats.

I made a Halloween costume for my grandson's Furby. Furby is a wizard. His cape is reversible.
