This program is designed to educate
The Adoption Trauma Consultation Program
for Adoptees and Birth Mothers needing support and validation
through Loss and Grief in adoption.
Our program offers the following unique qualities
An advanced connection of a four-level healing approach;
Emotional~Mental~Physical~Spiritual
~PTSD~
Addressing the Symptoms of Post-Tramatic Stess Disorder and how
the Birth Mother is affected. Birth Mothers often repeat the three symptoms
of Intrusion,Hyperarounsel and Constriction in an oscillating pattern.
These patterns persist for as many as 20-30 years or until she finds
a way to heal. This is often called the emotional roller coaster
PTSD testing on all birth mothers for self examination
~ADOPTEE TRAUMA~
*Special attention is given to the psychological affects on adoptees in adoption. Attention is focused on the dual identity of the adoptee and how to blend these identities into one. (biological & adoptive)
~EDUCATIONAL~
Clients are educated on issues of how our emotions create body chemistry and how they can reverse their emotions to create health. Each emotion
creates its OWN body chemistry. You will really enjoy this part of our program!
~EMPOWERMENT~
Throughout the program the client is empowered to re-invent his/her life in
order to bring healing and a sense of living in the present. You will begin
to follow your true hearts desires as you realize your lifes' mission.
~REUNION PATTERNS~
As part of consulting program our clients will be educated on the core
patterns (schemas) in reunions.
We will point out negative patterns, why they occur and how to prevent them.
This area is extremely valuable in maintaining the relationship between birth
parent and adoptee, with considerations given to the adoptive parents perspective
We recommend our healing program before embarking on a search or
before contact is made if at all possible.
Our program and conultants are compassionate, independent and highly confidential,
an Adoption Triad Member and are not
affiliated with a state agency or adoption facility.
