I Ride a Moto Guzzi V65sp

In 1984, 1,000 V65sp's were imported into this country. The rarity of this bike always draws attention from other riders. This 650cc bike is terrific for a woman rider - light, nimble and easy to flick around in the twisties. :-)
I purchased the bike in August 2000 and by spring of 2001 transformed it from stock red to a soft white. I designed the tank and faring color scheme and did the red, black and gold pinstriping myself.
The Moto Guzzi metal tank ID was removed and replaced with the older style Moto Guzzi decals. The metal V65sp on the side covers was also removed and Jose DeLaCruz hand painted the side covers. The unique seat is a custom Russell Day-Long saddle and very comfortable on long trips! The finishing touch was a two-tone red and white tank bag from RKA.

2001 riding season I put 10,000+ miles on my little Guzzi touring the East Coast from Vermont to South Carolina... riding the Blue Ridge was the best experience to date!

In addition to touring, attending Guzzi & BMW rallys and camping on the motorcycle, I am a serious amature photographer... I use a 35mm Pentax K1000 fully manual camera, Sigma lenses and an assortment of Hoya filters to create my "art" which fills the walls of my home.
I am the NJ Rep for the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club.
