The Sandhills Curiosity Shop is a "Must Stop" along Route 66!

Located in downtown Erick, the "Redneck Capital of the World!", this unusual shop offers an experience and atmosphere not soon forgotten!

This Mother Road icon location is what you would call a "living history" roadside location! It is much like a museum, yet with the added live music of 'good times' Rock 'n Roll laced with story sharing folk ballads.

Route 66 Roadies who stop in for a visit will find vintage oak furniture, a variety of artwork, an impressive array of musical instruments and all manner of objects both curious and fascinating. You will find one of the largest collections of harmonicas found along the route.

A note for travelers wanting to buy something, is that they must shop somewhere else, for nothing is for sale at the Sandhills Curiosity Shop. Only fun good times and healthy portions of hometown hospitality are served FREE here!

The SandHills Curiousity Shop, once the city meat market, is the oldest brick building in Erick, can accommodate up to 75 people, and this is where any day of the week you can catch Harley & Annabelle performing for singles, couples, families, clubs, tour bus groups and even the media!! Refreshments are always "on-the-house," along with hugs, kisses and photo-ops! While cruising Route 66, or visiting the area, don't miss a stop at our store, Redneck Junk Store located across the street, offering "120 feet of pure redneck junk."

Harley & Annabelle Russell, also known as "The Mediocre Music Makers," perform 100% live, spontaneously and interactively, which guarantees a rockin' great time for all those who stop in. Harley and Annabelle's music set second only to their world-famous "Redneck Hospitality!"

Sit back with an ice cold glass of Redneck Lemonade and enjoy such timeless classic songs such as "South of the Border" and "San Francisco".
Sing along with Roger Miller's "King of the Road", or feel the memories of "Have I told you lately that I Love You". Or clap along to a song that Annabelle wrote titled "What a great day this is going to be".

Of course, no Mediocre Music Maker live performance is complete until you hear their upbeat rendition of Bobby Troup's "Get you Kicks on Route 66".
