Methamphetamine is the name of the drug commonly known on the street as Meth, Crystal Meth, Crystal, Ice, Crank, Speed, Glass, & Chalk. Regardless of what you call it, the end result still means the same for the user, speed kills, Meth means Death. Meth is a stimulant on the central nervous system and has a high potential for abuse and dependence. It effects the user in similar ways as cocaine, but with more power, more amps to the body so to speak. Meth looks like white crystalline powder, soluble in water or alcohol and bitter-tasting. It can be smoked, injected intravenously, snorted or eaten. The user experiences an intense "rush" lasting only a few minutes when smoked or injected. Snorting or eating Crystal gives the user a "high", but not an intense "rush". The only medical treatment this drug is used in is for obesity, but very limited otherwise. Research shows that damage to neurons containing Dopamine and Serotonin occurs to the nerve endings "terminals" which appear to have limited ability to re-grow, thus putting the user at risk for conditions such as Parkinsons & Alzheimers in later years, if they make it that far at all. Read on and find out what health risks and damage your body can suffer leaving your health in a very poor state as grow older, that is if you continue to use Crystal Meth, don't forget the risk of death, from meth..it can happen to you too, think about our daddy...and what he left behind..

A study showed that given an unlimited supply of the drug (Meth), the animal will self-administer methamphetamine until its toxic effects cause death. This study reflects predictive human behavior using animal models that will self-administer in cyclic patterns just like humans using Meth do.

Meth-How it affects your body?
Meth stimulates the central nervous system, causing chemical reactions in the brain which trick the body into thinking it has unlimited energy supplies and drains energy reserves needed in other parts of the body.. This is why meth users can stay awake for long periods of time and then eventually crash, feeling tired and depressed, worse off then than before they took the drug. Chemical imbalances in the brain combined with sleep deprivation commonly associated with continued use of meth cause the user to experience hallucinations, exreme paranoia and bizarre, violent behavior.

You should at least read these and know what is causing your body to go to hell, after all you already know that you are taking great risk to your health each time you get high right? You did know that death can occur, after just one use, several uses, or after a long period of time using methamphetamines, right? Think about this...Think about what you would leave behind, your children, your family, your friends, if you experienced the ultimate blow to your health, and ended up dead from your drug abuse and addiction to meth.
