I have been fishing the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY for over ten years. I have learned what it takes to catch trophy Salmon, Steelhead, and BrownTrout. My guide service runs from late August thru April. Both the Oswego and Salmon Rivers are targeted for the best fishing in every season.
I use only top quality equipment such as Cortland rods and reels and a 1998 Hyde aluminum drift boat. A variety of techniques are used including fly rodding for Salmon, and plugging and drift fishing for Steelhead and Brown trout.

Best Time To Come

King Salmon and Coho Salmon : Late Aug- Oct
Steelhead Trout : Oct- April
Brown Trout : Nov- April

What you need to bring:

When fishing the Salmon or Oswego Rivers you will need to have a valid NYS fishing license, weather appropriate clothing, a cooler (if you want to bring home your catch), and of course your camera. The weather here in Pulaski is quite variable and remember it is usually colder on the water! WADERS are required on most trips.

The RiverGuide will provide a 7-9 hr guided fishing trip. Either wading or drift boat trips are available. Whether we wade or float, all rods rods, reels, and tackle are provided. You will learn how to ethically hook and land trophy Salmon, Steelhead, and BrownTrout. A shore lunch is provided on all trips.
