Inspections & Classifications
Eventually, the SPRA will host inspections and classify the different styles and types of ponies as they are registered and inspected. Colts and stallions will be required to be inspected prior to being registered as a breeding stallion, and will be required to produce a certain number of quality foals to remain in good standing as a breeding stallion. For now, the SPRA is a very small group of members and ponies, spread over several different continents, making inspections and classifications a less feasible option.
Registration Number Prefixes
A = Appendix: Any pony under 6-yrs-old.
B = Breeding Stock: Any pony with Saddlebred bloodlines who does not meet the height requirements.
P = Permanent: All Saddlebred ponies over 6-yrs-old and of the correct height.
F = Foundation: All Saddlebreds over 14.2 and any other breed of pony.

Basic Requirements
1) Between 11 and 14.2 hands, considered at full height at age 6. Will be Appendix registered until age 6.
2) 25% Minimum Saddlebred bloodlines. Proof could include a breeder's certificate, or a copy of the registration papers for the Saddlebred bloodlines in question, along with a verification form signed by the owner of said Saddlebred.
3) Ponies may be gaited or non, and be of any color. Color changes on registration papers may be reissued at age 6.
4) Purebred Saddlebreds are eligible for Permanent registration if under 14.2 hands. Purebred Saddlebreds over 14.2 hands, as well as any purebred ponies, are also eligible for Foundation registration.
5) Grade Ponies: A limited number of grade ponies will be accepted. The Registry reserves the right to inspect and approve grade ponies on an individual basis. This may include ponies of unknown origin that resemble the Saddlebred in conformation or personality, or ponies with Saddlebred bloodlines that cannot be verified.
