Lightning was a gift to myself. I liked the looks of OF birds I had seen and I though an OF Cobalt Pied would be pretty. Well I soon learned that he wasn't an OF, he was a Yellow-Face which is hard to come by. He is just beautiful even though he has lost most of his piedness. We got him from Kim Freivald in South Lima, NY.
Storm was an "accidental" discovery. We had went to New Eden Pet Center, a local pet store, and saw this gorgeous, almost white bird with a bright yellow head. At first we came to the conclusion that she is a YF Aussie Cinnamon Violet, but almost all at once she got this bright orange band. She is a DB Aussie Cinnamon Violet. She is very pretty.
